Description
“The healthcare system is complex, and we enter into this challenge open-eyed about the
degree of difficulty. Hard as it might be, reducing healthcare’s burden on the economy while
improving outcomes for employees and their families would be worth the effort. Success is
going to require talented experts, a beginner’s mind, and a long-term orientation.” - Jeff Bezos,
Amazon founder and CEO.
Amazon Healthcare combines the selection, convenience, and value customers have come to
know and love from Amazon, with new features and benefits tailored to the health sector.
Whether you are part of a community hospital or a global pharmaceutical company, Amazon
strives to be the most customer-centric health company to find and build the best future,
together.
What unites Amazonians across teams and geographies is that we are all striving to delight our
customers and make their lives easier. The scope and scale of our mission drives us to seek
diverse perspectives, be resourceful, and navigate through ambiguity. Inventing and delivering
things that were never thought possible isn't easy, but we embrace this challenge every day. By
working together on behalf of our customers, we are building the future one innovative product,
service, and idea at a time.
Speaker Umang Desai will be joining us to discuss:
- How Amazon Approaches Innovation
- How Amazon intends to innovate within healthcare globally and disrupt the status
quo - How Amazon healthcare structured
- How executives, administrators, clinicians, and caregivers can replicate Amazon’s
models to provide the best patient and family experiences
