    Description

    Some people’s careers take off, while others’ take longer – or even stall out. The challenge is that you’re competing against every individual in your industry who wants to be a high performer and there’s no set path to success. So how can you chart your path that is the surest path to success? Join us on a half-day session designed to help you map your executive career! This event includes two speaker presentations and a workshop session on executive development. Event is designed for those who are currently in management positions (middle- to upper-level), and interested in furthering their career.

    Speakers

    Michael Karl is a Corporate Speaker and Mentalist for Fortune 500 companies. These companies include MARS, Indeed, AT&T, Hilton, Marriott, Priceline, Cablevision, NBA and many more. He appeared on several media channels for demonstrations such as predicting headlines, duplicating drawings, and reading the minds of his audiences. Michael is constantly asked to speak at corporate events about the psychology of sales, communication skills, body language, and much more due to his innate ability to read the human body and it’s “micro signals”. He helps leaders elevate their ability to add value by improving their ability to connect with others and build relationships.

    Dr. Mitchell (Mickey) Ross Lebowitz is a board certified internist and endocrinologist with over 16 years in private practice, 2 years general hospitalist in Syracuse, and in the last 10 years, he served as a hospital based Medical Quality Director and a endocrine hospitalist overseeing their diabetes program and journey to being a center of excellence. He began teaching leadership courses with a goal to help healthcare administrators be their best personal and professional self. His focus is on the personal, professional, and financial benefits of emotional intelligence.

    The workshop will be led by Dulce Maria Ruelas. Dulce was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States with her mother at the age of four.  She is dedicated to the promotion of health education and has been an activist for human rights to the Latino populations for the past 20 years. Ms. Ruelas has committed herself to improve collaboration, partnerships, and community capacity. She currently is the Co-chair for the Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa County, community representative for the City of Phoenix Head Start Policy Council, Vice-Chair for the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center, and board member of the Mountain Park Health Centers.  Ms. Ruelas holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences emphasizing in Health Education, Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature, Master of Public Health and is a Doctorate of Public Health candidate. Leaning on key themes from the speakers, her healthcare executive career path development workshop will focus on providing attendees:

    1. Career planning and personal growth strategies
    2. Building blocks of career planning activity
    3. Coaching on emotional control as an Executive

    There will be time allocated to mingle with university representatives who will present for those who are interested in furthering their education or certifications:

    2. Grand Cannon University
    3. Walden University
    4. American Sentential University
    5. Chamberlain University
    6. Capella University

    Event attendees are encourage to also sign up for the networking event (from 6-7:30pm) at Bottom’s Up Pizza. If you would like to attend, simply indicate that you will be attending during ticket selection for this event.
